Activities of Hamza Foundation

Hamza Foundation Welfare Hospital Peshawar is conceited to upload its report on the activities that are already performed by the organization, their expected domino effects, their impression, their fundamental outcomes and the success proportion.
This report will also elucidate the continuing activities of the organization and the activities in the pipeline.
We would appreciate if you could kindly inform us with your impression of the work and the suggestions and feedback to improve the work and quality of work.

July 2006: The organization embarked its services for the general folk of KPK & FATA , with the aim to provide safe and free of cost blood/blood products to Thalassaemia, Hemophilia and Blood Cancer Patients.

Chairman & Signatory Body: Mr. Ijaz Ali was selected as life time Founder/Chairman of the Hospital with a mutual consent of the board of Directors of HF.

The staff of 15 members including the managerial, administrative, medical and field personnel is taken.

The First Patient: Organization registered its 1st patient on 12th of July 2006, whereas, a total number of 14 patients were registered till 31st of July 2006.

The First Camp: Organization had its first Blood camp on 10th July a total number of 88 bags of blood were collected.

Till 30th September,2018 registered patients of thalassemia were 1011, Hameophilia and blood cancer patients were 107 and 51 respectively. So in total 1169 patients were regestired with Hamza foundation , and the numbers are increasing day by day with the registration of new patients.The main reason of new registration of patients is that there is no such facility available in Government Hospitals of the province.

Hamza Foundation Issued about 109050 bags of screened and healthy blood/products to different patients during 13 years.

Hamza Foundation arranged different seminars on Thalassemia Awareness on World Thalassemia day , World Hemophilia Day and on World Blood donor Day, each year.

Free Medical Camps for Flood affected People,2010 and for IDPS.

Hamza Foundation arranged Free medical/free Medicines Camps at Flood effected areas of District Charsadda,Nowshera, and Peshawar, and distributed food(Iftar Dinner Boxes to more then 6000o people & medicine Items to more then 64000 people.

Hamza foundation with Colloboration of Tanzeem Lisail Wal Mehroom(Chief Minister’s Welfare Project) arranged Free medical/medicine camps at far flung and our reached areas of Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa ( Nowshera, Swabi, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Laki Marwat, Bannu, D.I Khan, Buner, Malakand, Lower & Uper Dir, Abboatabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Shangla and Chitral).

Hamza Foundation distributed medicine of worth 4,800,000 PKR (57,500 US $ )in the free medical/medicines camps in different areas through medical check up by its professional expert team of male and female Doctors and paramedical personals.

Hamza Foundation arranged Free medical/medicine camp and Sunstroke/ Rehydration Centre for the IDPS of Swat, Buner, Bajur, Dir and Malakand at Jalala Camp(Mardan) and Jalozai Camp Pabbi-(Nowshera).

Hamza Foundation distributed Food items and other important necessary goods among the IDPs in various camps of Jalala (Mardan) and Jalozai Camp Pabbi- (Nowshera).
